I am a private pay, out-of-network provider. While I don't accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits, which means they will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you. With Thrizer, you only have to pay a co-pay for our sessions once you meet your deductible instead of paying my full fee and waiting for reimbursement. I cannot guarantee reimbursement, however.

The initial session is between 60–75 minutes. Ongoing sessions are 50–55 minutes.

Fees for psychotherapy services operate on a sliding scale basis. This sliding scale is used to make therapy affordable.

Payment is typically due after each session* using IVY pay, a HIPAA secured payment app. (The client receives a text with instructions to place a form of payment and does not need to install the app. After this initial time, the client just receives a text when the card is charged or needs to be updated). IVY accepts credit cards, debit cards, and HSAs. Checks are also accepted.

*If a payment needs to be delayed due to fund availability on their card, this can be arranged.

The first 10 minutes of a phone or video call are free and then there is a charge thereafter for each 15-minute interval and prorated based on the length of the call.

If there is a no-show without any notice the client will be charged their full fee. While I do have a 24-hour cancellation/reschedule policy, I do completely understand emergencies, illnesses, or last minutes hiccups. I extend grace and use my discretion concerning charging a full or partial fee for such cancellations or rescheduling without the proper notice. Of course, if I cancel there is no charge for the client.

If a client is late to start the session, I will do my best to accommodate the person, but generally, the session cannot be extended. If I am running late to a session (more than a few minutes), I will certainly accommodate the client.
